He attended Columbia School of Broadcasting and has been working in the Radio Business since 1974. When he came to Columbus in 1978 and he started off at WOKS 1340 AM part-time. Six weeks later, he was hired full-time and began working 12 midnight-6 am. After two years, Roy moved to the Afternoon Drive 3 pm-7pm. In 1983, he left the air and worked in the sales department until 1985. He then worked on WFXE-Foxie 105 and then returned to WOKS. In 1995, he moved to the Morning Drive and became “The Breakfast Brother”. He advises, informs, and empowers listeners from 7 am until 10 am, six days a week.
